Granola the Survivor Saga arc came to an end last month but surely that was not the end of the popular manga series. It is definitely coming back with a new arc and so the big question right now is the releasing date of the next chapter.
We have gathered here everything you need to know about the arrival of the next Dragon Ball Super arc and the speculated plot. A sequel to the original Dragon Ball manga, the series is authored by Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou. It first aired in 2015 and has been publishing new chapters since then.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 88 Release Date
The next arc after Granolah the Survivor Saga is confirmed to launch soon but Shueisha hasn’t released an official notification yet. Since the manga is taking an indefinite hiatus, it is hard to predict a date as of now.
But fret not, fans won’t have to wait for long as the new chapter is expected to release in October 2022. Another report suggests that the new arc will launch after the fall, probably in December 2022.

What will happen in the next arc?
The creators haven’t released any spoilers at the moment but we can make a few guesses from how the previous chapter had left off. The famous Frieza is expected to come back as the villian but it’s still unclear if a new character will play as the main antagonist.
Goku and Vegeta will also return to defeat the powerful villain Frieza. We might also see some familiar characters like Jiren and Broly.

In the final chapter of the previous arc, Frieza unlocked a more powerful transformation called the “Black Frieza” and was able to hurt Vegeta and Goku. This new power was achieved because he trained on another dimension in a chamber known as “The Room of Spirit and Time”.
His power has increased so much that Goku and Vegeta were nowhere near his level.We also came to know that the fascinating room allowed Frieza to squeeze 10 years of training in a short time and hence was able to defeat the strongest warrior in the universe, Gas.
