A Brief Recap of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 79:

DBS Chapter 79 is all about the battle between Granolah and Gas. In order to stand a chance against Gas, Vegeta lends Granolah a hand by giving him a Senzu Bean. All thanks to the bean, it instantly restores Granolah’s health and power. After saving the old man from Oil and Maki, he challenges Granolah to fight him.

The universe’s strongest accepts his request and both of them start their fight. For a brief period of time, Granola is able to overwhelm his opponent with his fighting skills. Turns out that Gas wasn’t using his new strength to fight Granolah and was instead relying on his previous skills.

In fact, he even feels that it was a failure on his part for not being able to kill Granolah without relying on his newfound strength. Seeing that he doesn’t have a chance with the skills he had, Gas surprises the Cerealian with instant teleportation. To counter it, Granola does the same and their fight continues.

On the other side, Goku stands in awe as he witnesses the two characters continually use instant teleportation. However, towards the end of the chapter, Vegeta notices the fighting pattern of the two characters. He realizes that Gas does not know how to properly wield his new strength.
