The number of angry fans waiting for Dragon Ball Super Chapter 78 to release soon has skyrocketed and we understand why. Since Chapter 77 was released on October 20, 2021, we got much greater insight into the character of Bardock and his relationship with Granolah.
Granolah The Survivor Saga became furthermore interesting from the way we got a peek into his conflicted past. While his main goal was to inflict vengeance on the ones responsible for making his species extinct, he has to confront the fact that getting vengeance would be impossible.
For many chapters now, we’ve seen Granolah battle both Vegeta and Goku with Vegeta at one point unleashing his God of Destruction form. New secrets are getting spilled and it seems like our vengeful antihero will have to face the new reality.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 78 Release Date
The upcoming chapter will be getting released soon on the 20th of November 2021. Every new chapter of DBS gets released after a period of one month.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 77 Recap
The mind-blowing revelation in DBS Chapter 76 was that Goku’s father, Bardock rescued Monaito and Granolah when Freeza attacked Planet Cereal. Granolah’s resolve to avenge the Saiyans was challenged by the revelation, which called into question everything he thought he knew about them.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 77, titled “Bardock, Father of Goku,” begins around four decades before Granolah battled the two Saiyans on Planet Cereal. Everything is very ideal, with Namekians and Cerealians coexisting peacefully. Freeza’s army, on the other hand, attacks Planet Cereal during a full moon.
As the lone surviving Namekian, Monaito is soon awarded with the Dragon Balls by his planet’s elder. A Great Ape soon starts chasing a Cerealian who happens to be Granolah around the streets. They hide under a religious structure, but the Great Ape notices them.
At the same time, a Cerealian named Flayk destroys the moon, putting a stop to the Saiyan’s Great Ape transformation. Granolah and his mother are sheltering in a church, and Granolah’s mother, Muezli, attacks Bardock. Rather, Bardock recalls meeting his wife, Gine, shortly after she gave birth to Goku.
Then a Saiyan named Leek interrupts Bardock’s musings. Bardock refuses to accompany him, claiming he will search Planet Cereal for survivors. Bardock is passionate about looking for survivors, and he’s been told that even Freeza will be paying him a visit soon.
Goku then scans, accurately identifying Muezli and Granolah as the last two Cerealians alive. In the mountains, though, there is another entity. When Bardock enters Monaito’s Namekian hut, he hides the Dragon Balls.
The assault is easily blocked by the Saiyan. After that, Bardock discloses that he has brought Muezli and Granolah with him, and they request to stay with the Namekian, which is immediately accepted. Bardock advises them to hide themselves since Freeza is already on the way to Cereal.
Back to the present, Granolah is visibly shocked to see that a Saiyan’s momentary kindness saved his life.
