Dr. Stone: Stone Wars Anime Announces Cast Members

Dr. Stone is a television anime series that is an adaptation of the manga of the same name. This Japanese manga series is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boich and serialized by Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2017.

TMS entertainment produced the anime series and began airing it in 2019. The story revolves around Senkū Ishigami, a 16-year-old who is the only one left in a world where all the other human and living creatures have been turned to stone by some mysterious light.

In six months, Senkū Ishigami finds a remedy and starts using it to revive his friends and the people he needs to help the world up and running again.

New Cast Members

The show was revived for the second season and will start airing from January 2021. The official website of the anime announced today the cast members for three characters of the anime

Pandemic Halt

The anime series season 2 was supposed to debut in July 2020, but due to the ongoing pandemic, it was shifted to January 2021. According to the teaser released by the official website, season 2 will follow the Stone Wars arc from the manga.

Also, according to the latest trailer that was released in Jump Fest, it shows Senku, Chrome, and Gen are joining forces to fight against Tsukasa’s kingdom of might.

Staff Members return for season 2


The opening theme song “Rakuen,” which means Paradise in Japanese, will be performed by Fujifabric while Hatena does the end credits song “Koe?” (Voice?).

Shinya Iino is reprising his role as the director of the second season. The scriptwriters, the designers, and the music composers of the first season are returning for the second season.

 Sad news for non-residents of Japan 

The series, which doesn’t have a specific date yet, will stream in January 2021. Crunchyroll will stream the episodes worldwide except Asia. Funimation will do the dubbing and stream in other languages.

The first season was streamed by Crunchyroll and simultaneously dubbed and streamed by Funimation, which will be the same case for season 2. Fans are hardly keeping away spinning theories now with the extra free time. They have even more theories and are eagerly waiting to find out how much they got right.
