About Dandadan:

Dandadan is a manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It began its serialization in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ service in April 2021. As of now, Dandadan has a total of three tankobon chapters.

A Brief Recap of Dandadan Chapter 42:

The chapter begins with a literal kick-off between Okarun and Jiji and apparently the footballer wins. In the next moment when Okarun’s on the ground, Jiji again attacks him but he somehow escapes. Along with him, he also saves Momo from the monster Jiji brought and race towards safety.

However, there’s no safe place as the earthworm is spewing venom in his lair where the trio is trapped. And there’s only one way out – the hole upwards, from where all of them came. Furthermore, Okarun is also able to deduce that the earthworm’s weakness is sunlight. But, how do they drive it out?

This is where Okarun and Momo’s supernatural powers come in clutch. Both of them use each other to propel Momo to the house. And once she’s up there, Jiji can’t hurt her while she can think about how to extract her friends. Although Jiji won’t understand all this, right? That’s why Okarun will stay and fight him.

Once Momo is up there, she tries to use curtains but they’re very short. Meanwhile, in the earthworm’s lair, Jiji and Okarun are gearing up for the fight. Cut to the next panel and we see Momo putting the whole house on fire so the fire department comes to help. Wow, that’s actually a great idea, attagirl.

What Can Happen In The Next Chapter?

So, we are getting a fast-paced action battle between two friends in Dandadan Chapter 43? Obviously. Apart from that, it’ll be pretty fascinating to see how the fire department will help in Momo’s plan.

Lastly, I know I’ve been saying this for a while but where is the Kito lady? Because the last time we saw her, she didn’t die. Neverthless, it’ll be very exciting to see what craziness Danddan packs in its upcoming chapter.
