At the Jump Festa Event held on December 18, fresh details about the Chainsaw Man anime and manga (ongoing) were unveiled. Read on to know more about it.

Chainsaw Man Anime Adaptation

The anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man will be released in 2022. A new teaser has specially picked manga photos that highlight all of the series’ heartbreaking events.

Although the PV does not feature the animated version of the series, it featured some scenes from the manga which give us a good idea of what the anime will cover. These scenes triggered some bitter-sweet memories from seeing the pain and suffering many characters went through.

Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, has stated that the manga’s second season will be released in summer 2022. The second installment will have a school arc (Gakkou-hen).

It’ll be interesting to see Power go to school. Consider the havoc and drama she and Denji will bring to the classroom dynamics. Chainsaw Man Part 2 will add immense depth to the manga and explore the sad lived realities of the characters of Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man anime will have stiff competition in 2022 with the arrival of popular anime such as Attack on Titan and Bleach. It does, however, have enough intriguing storey substance to dethrone big mainstays like these anime.

There is also a trailer produced by MAPPA dedicated to the Chainsaw Man anime released in June 2021. While the cast is yet unclear, the teaser highlighted a number of crucial personalities.

For example, the soundtrack is composed by Kensuke Ushio who has composed the soundtrack for Devilman Crybaby, Ping Pong: The Animation, while the film is directed by Ryu Nakayama who has led the team in producing anime like Jujutsu Kaisen and One Punch Man.

About Chainsaw Man

Denji is a young man who’s making it hard to make ends’ meet. He works as a demon hunter to redeem his late father’s yakuza debt, aided by Pochita, his canine companion and Chainsaw Devil.

Denji is betrayed by the Yakuza, who murders him in return for a contract with the Zombie Devil. Pochita strikes a bargain with Denji, uniting with him and reviving him as a human-devil Hybrid in return for Denji’s “normal existence.”
