Recently, there was an official confirmation on the website that By The Grace of The Gods will come back for a second season. Earlier, Funimation had released the first episode of this upcoming anime in the virtual event held in July 2020.

Plot of By The Grace of The Gods Season 2

The plot of this anime focuses on the life of a character named Ryoma Takebayashi, a lonely man who dies after living a tough life. He dies in his sleep after suffering from a peculiar accident. 

But fortunately, his life in the afterlife takes a turn for the better as three gods take pity on him. So, they send him to become reborn into another world as a child. Combined with all the gifts given by the gods, he learns to live a more fulfilling life. 

Takeyuki Yanase directed the anime with the character designs by Kaho Deguchi. The plot of the second season will commence three years after the last episode of the first season. In the last episode, Ryoma and Elliaria made a heartbreaking promise to reunite no matter what.
