Recap of Boruto Episode 248

Since Boruto Epusode 249 is not out yet we can go over Episode 248. Denki and Iwabe have been captured and everyone is worried. It is quite possible that the Funatos killed them but Metal says with optimism that they might be alive.

Sarada surveys the enemy lined up outside the walls. The villagers have volunteered to help the Shinobis. But they are not attacking the village so the Shinobis think that they are probably trying to starve them. Boruto thinks that Funamushi is waiting for something.

The Funatos finally attack and the Shinobis, though they put up a brave fight, are not in a very good position. Boruto’s hunch turns out to be right when the Lightning Jutsu overpowers Funamushi. His water jutsu is effective only where there is unlimited water.

Then it starts to rain and he uses a terrifying jutsu called “Raging Jellyfish”. Just when it looks like the Shinobis have lost, Boruto uses “Rasengan” and kills Funamushi. In the fight, Hebiichigo dies.

Preview and Spoilers 

Boruto Episode 249 is called “Burgeoning Hatred”. We don’t have official spoilers but according to the preview, Boruto and the rest are now going after Lord Araumi. For that they decide to team up with the Mist Shinobis to annihilate the Funatos as quickly as possible.
