Boruto Episode 241 Recap 

As Boruto Episode 242 is not out yet, we can recap the events of Episode 241. The Funatos destroy a clan for not being on their side during the war. Ikada has become better at shipbuilding, to the approval of Kajiki. He informs Boruto that it will take a couple more days to fix the ship. 

Ikada tells Boruto about his dream to bring everyone together. This will take a lot of effort and Ikada knows he must hone his skills and learn more. Now that things have calmed, the prisoners who had joined Boruto’s team must go back to prisons. 

Ikada meets his sister and we learn that he is actually a Funato! He was cast out into the sea by Araumi because he happens to be a coward. But he is saved by the ocean waves and at that moment Araumi realises he is stronger than any other Funato. 

But Ikada is dismissive and does not want to acknowledge his powers. His sister threatens him to come back and contribute to the Funato Mission. She asks him to understand that their clan has been oppressed and they are only fighting back. 

Kagura gets the news that the authorities have reduced the prisoners’ sentences by three years each. One of the prisoners wants to escape completely and attempts to kill Kagura but he outsmarts her.

Boruto Episode 242 is called “Seiren”. Boruto says that he has left Kagura to Funamushi. He adds that he will take out the Funatos himself. Now that Ikada’s sister knows about him, we might end up seeing a fight between them. Fans will also be wondering if the Funatos continue to kill clans who are loyal to them as usual.
