About Boruto
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is the anime sequel to Naruto and the story focuses on Naruto’s son, the eponymous character Boruto Uzumaki. The anime follows the life and adventures of Boruto as he joins a ninja team.

Recap of Boruto Episode 239
Since Episode 240 hasn’t been released yet, we can recap Episode 239. The ship that Boruto and the others are on has broken down. They are unable to fix it, so Kagura suggests taking a boat. Boruto has flashbacks while sitting in the sun and passes out. His friends have to splash water on him to bring him back to consciousness.
Boss Kajiki, a prominent shipbuilder, and his apprentice come to the stranded ship. Kajiki inspects the ship and decides to take it to his island along with everyone on the ship. The funatos are lurking around and Boruto and his team must take the rescued prisoners to the Hidden Mist village.
Kajiki demands payment for repairing their ship to which everyone agrees. Buntan and his gang agree to go with the rest of the team We see Tenma meeting his elder brother and his father. He tells them about Kagura and Boruto. Isari says that the mobile fortress had achieved its aim be destroying the Land of Water’s frontline base.
Boruto and his team go about repairing the ship. Kagura gets the news that Lord Chojuro isn’t there in Hidden Mist Village as he has gone to take command of the front lines. Kajiki discovers that they don’t have replacement parts for the damaged ship.
Ikada vows to make up for his mistake by getting the parts. But Kajiki is somewhat sceptical of this since funato ships are on the prowl. Boruto volunteers to accompany him and Kajiki agrees. They get on a boat that Ikada made and are sail on their next adventure.
Preview and Spoilers
Boruto Episode 240 is titled Ikada’s Dream. The preview shows Ikada narrating his story and how he came to be on the Isle of Shipbuilders in the first place. We also see them caught in a storm with a suspicious ship looming in the foreground.
We will probably get to know more about Ikada and whether the ship is repaired. It would also be interesting to see if Boruto runs into the funatos again. Will Lord Tenma get his revenge is one question that will be answered in the upcoming episodes.
