Recap of Episode 239
Everyone is lodged safely in their ship and people are finally getting some rest. The inmates at Funtao have been rescued and things look stable once again. However, soon something sinister happens; Captain Taiki is dead, he has been killed!
The teammates suspect Kyoho and they find him trying to hide a bloody cloth. Iwabe wants to kill Kyoho but he is stopped. Hebichiigo lays out a trap of wires around him to render him motionless. Boruto asks them both to drop their fight and concentrate on finding who the killer is.
The news of the murder has spread among the people on board the ship. One passenger accuses that Kyoho is actually a Funato under his mask. Kyoho immediately flees and then he is caught and bound. But it turns out that it was all a ruse to catch the real Funato infiltrator who then kills himself for fear of being caught.
But Kyoho is saved and he explains that he wears a mask because he has scars. He offers to show his teammates his face and they all have a light-hearted moment. Boruto says that things would get even more difficult in the future for all of them.
Boruto Episode 239 Preview and Spoilers
Boruto Episode 239 is titled “The Boy From the Isle of Shipbuilders”. Possibly, Boruto’s ship is stranded on an island and they need someone to repair it. We will get more clarity once the official spoilers are released but we can speculate that the Funatos might try to take revenge now that one of their men has been killed by the ninjas.
