Do you remember the one thing that bothered us the most after the Avenger’s first movie? If you don’t, then just don’t call yourself a fan.
What Happened in Budapest?
For actual ardent fans, one thing kept bothering them after the movie got over. What on earth happened in Budapest??
All we know is that something terrible happened there because Natasha compares the New York battle to it. And also, the line between Clint and Nat was an inside joke between them, and we have ever since trying to be their BFFs to get to know what did Clint mean by that.
Red in the Ledger
We saw in Age of Ultron how Natasha decided to get on the field to clear her ledger. We also saw in Avengers how Loki manipulated Natasha about the red in Natasha’s ledger. Even though it looked like it was all just a trick by Nat to get into Loki’s head, we could see the pain in Natasha’s eyes.
Natasha also became our favorite in Endgame (not like she already wasn’t). We saw how much the Avengers family meant to her. All of this was because of how much they helped her be sane and clear her conscience. To know the impact of her pain and to know the reason and depth of how much she cared for her Avengers family far enough to take the jump, we have to understand what happened in Budapest.
Scarlett Johansson confirmed it in Marvel’s Black Widow: The Official Movie Special Book that the part will be shown in the movie. Even though that won’t be the main plot, that will definitely be shown in the film, according to Scarlett Johansson.
“We often talked about what is going on in Natasha’s head. I really think that Natasha is haunted by the fact that she has this past that she feels so guilty about. Unfinished business is the sense of guilt that follows her around, which all stems from what happened in Budapest. Black Widow movie is not about what happened in Budapest alone, but it’s a huge jumping-off point for us to understand the heaviness of Natasha’s burden.” Scarlett Johansson
Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova, says that the movie is “horrifying,” and it’s merely about how a group of women who get their life back together after they have been severely abused and trained to be a killing machine.
All of this confirms that Hawkeye, aka Clint Barton, will make an appearance in the movie either one way or the other. Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, will have either a flashback scene or a more significant role in the film. I mean, who knows? There is no saying anything with these Marvel guys!
Anyway, all we know is we are super excited and cannot wait to see the movie, which is scheduled to release on May 7, 2021.
