In the comic books, Queen Divine Justice is the daughter of a Jabari tribe chieftain named Damola. As the first movie established, the Jabari was not always friendly to the other tribes in Wakanda. Their leader, M’Baku (Winston Duke), even challenged T’Challa’s (Chadwick Boseman) claim to the throne. But Killmonger’s (Michael B. Jordan) havoc changed that dynamic making the Jabari an important ally to defeat the main villain.
Damola fled Wakanda with his family when there was an attempt to wipe out the Jabari tribe. They ended up living in Chicago as told in the comic books. Though nothing is confirmed at this point, this could be a possible way to introduce Queen Divine Justice in “Black Panther 2.”
