Barbara Ann Minerva First Look Revealed:
We will hopefully know who this mysterious Barbara Ann Minerva is. 2020 is supposed to be an exciting year for fans of DC Comics. This is especially when it comes to new movies on the big screen. From Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) to the much-awaited Wonder Woman sequel, all will arrive in theatres next year.
And we have seen the Amazon warrior in various images and art. Moreover, we have also seen more in Wonder Woman 1984. But, Cheetah, or Barbara Ann Minerva, remains more of a mystery. However, with merchandise from the upcoming film, we now have the first look at the villain.
What Merchandise Hints Towards A Look At Cheetah?
The merchandise, read, a coffee mug, was seen at CCXP in Brazil. And it is on this mug that we get a drawing or the Wonder Woman First Look, at Barbara Ann Minerva. Additionally, we see her looking fierce while she wears cheetah-patterned clothing.
However, she doesn’t appear to be fully transformed into the form which fans of the comics are familiar with. Regardless, even with this look it is a huge shift from the first look at Wiig’s Barbara Minerva that, director Patty Jenkins shared in June 2018.
What Do We Know About Wonder Woman 1984?
As of now, there’s not much information about Wonder Woman 1984. However, we expect to find out more about it soon. Sources suggest that the trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 will arrive as early as this week. This was further confirmed when Gal Gadot took to her social media to share something. Not only is this something “Very exciting,” but it is also arriving this weekend. Gadot further asked fans to submit their best “Power Pose” photos as well.
From what we know, this weekend, Warner Brothers will have a presentation of DC Comics films at CCXP in Brazil. Moreover, the studio releases its trailers from San Diego Comic-Con online at the same time as their playing in Hall H. In saying so, CCXP might also follow that lead.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theatres on June 5th, 2020. It will also feature the anticipated character of Barbara Ann Minerva.
