Ayushmann Khurrana Is All Set To Work With Vaani Kapoor
Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor are coming together for the first time for a film with Kedarnath director Abhishek Kapoor. A love story set in North India, the film has been titled ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.’
Cast and roles
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ is expected to be a progressive love-story. While Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing a cross-functional athlete in the film, Vaani has been roped in to play his love interest. According to various reports, Ayushmann is undergoing an extensive physical transformation. His co-star Vaani Vaani Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of a transgender person in this movie. The plot will reportedly revolve around a married couple’s problems when the husband finds out his wife is transgender. There is no official confirmation of this, though.

Gautam Gulati joins the cast.
The winner of Big Boss season 8, Gautam Gulati, will be playing the third wheel in Ayushmann and Vaani’s relationship. According to various sources, Gautam was very excited when the filmmakers reached out to him. The actor liked the script and got on board for the film. Details about his character are kept under wraps, and he will begin shooting for the same very soon. Gulati will also be seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe.’
Other projects
Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan and has some big projects lined up for the year. Vaani Kapoor, last seen in War, will join Akshay Kumar in Bell Bottom.
