What Does Infinity War Deleted Scene Shows?

The Avengers Vs Guardians Of The Galaxy Deleted Scene:

A new Avengers Vs Guardians Of The Galaxy deleted scene from Infinity War has emerged. Fans discovered one of the many Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scenes from the MCU Infinity Saga box set. And in the scene, we see Peter Parker doing his best to “protect the Guardians” on the battlefield.

And in saying so, Spider-Man ultimately saves the Guardians of the Galaxy. This is one of the many Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scenes in the recently released Marvel Studios Infinity Saga box set. And thanks to an eagle-eyed Marvel fan, we now know the details of the scene.

One Of The Major Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scenes:

The deleted clip was posted on Twitter by Adam Khan, a Marvel fan. In the scene, we see Doctor Strange telling Spider-Man to “protect the Guardians.” He further tells Peter that Thanos had separated the souls of Drax, Star-Lord, and Nebula from their bodies.

The Master of Mystic Arts also tells Parker a lot more in this action scene. He says that if their bodies and souls remain separate for a long time, the Guardians will die. It is then that Parker says that he doesn’t know how to fix this. However, Strange tells him that Mantis knows what could fix this.

What Happens In The Subsequent Avengers Vs Guardians Of The Galaxy Scene?

After Mantis touches Drax’s body, he says, “Wake.” Soon after, his soul returns and Drax wakes up. Of course, the first he does after waking up insults Mantis about her looks. (For those who don’t know, this is a running joke throughout the Guardians of the Galaxy).

Subsequently, Parker gathers the bodies of the other Guardians for Mantis to do her thing. We then see Star-Lord and Nebula reunite with their souls.

Why Was This Avengers Vs Guardians Of The Galaxy Scene Cut?

According to us, this Avengers Vs Guardians Of The Galaxy scene was probably cut due to the already long run time of the Infinity War. For the record, the final cut of the film is that of 2 hours and 40 minutes.

As of now, this particular scene is available only in the Infinity Saga box set. However, you can still watch Avengers: Infinity War on Disney Plus.
