The buzz among fans has reached a peak after a special look trailer was released revealing a bit of Thanos’ glimpse and served as a reminder for fans to book tickets.

Avengers: Endgame is slotted to debut on April 26, but tickets went on sale earlier this month on sites such as Fandango, AMC Theaters, and Atom Tickets with the launch of a special look of it.

The Russo brothers have been upfront that, like last year’s Infinity War, some of the trailer footage for Endgame may be intentionally deceptive to throw fans off guard.

The pre-booking of tickets has begun and with just three weeks remaining for the release of the film, fans have found a new way to monetize the madness around the superhero movie. Eager fans swiftly crashed the servers and wound up waiting in virtual lines for over an hour just for the opportunity to purchase them.

Nearly every news channel across the country, from Good Morning, America to Phoenix, Arizona’s ABC affiliate, covered the broken records, site crashes, and fan responses.

Just six hours after being released, the movie ticket pre-sales numbers broke records originally held by Star Wars movies The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and Rogue One and last year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

The frenzy has now peaked with plenty of people, who managed to get hold of the tickets, now selling them on eBay for as high as USD 9,199.  “A listing on eBay for two tickets to Endgame for an April 28th showing at AMC’s 84th Street 6 Theater in New York City are currently sitting at a high bid of $9,199,” reports comicbook.com. Many others listed the tickets in the range of USD 100 to USD 300 dollars.

Fandango managing editor, Erik Davis, tweeted, “Not only did #AvengersEndgame become the biggest pre-sale title ever in the first 24 hours, but it accomplished this feat in only six hours. A groundbreaking and historic accomplishment. I have never seen anything like this before.”

Avengers: Endgame marks the final film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s current generation. Marvel is performing exceptionally well at the box office, with most of their movies earning over $1 billion. Captain Marvel, Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, The Avengers, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3 all achieved this impressive milestone.

It has been speculated that the Marvel film is the most-anticipated movie of 2019. AMC Theaters is hosting a massive, 59-hour-long marathon of all 22 MCU movies, culminating in Endgame, for those willing to live in a movie theater for several days straight.

The movie features an ensemble cast of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, Tessa Thompson, and Josh Brolin.
