Avengers: Endgame Director Joe Russo Says Marvel Has Been Talking to Priyanka Chopra

The first franchise of MCU comes to an end this month with the release of much awaited Avengers: Endgame which will most likely be the swansong of much-loved characters like Captain America and Iron Man.

Now, heading to the future projects we need new superheroes who will take the baton from Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. to carry on the legacy of Marvel. Chadwick Boseman aka Black Panther and Brie Larson aka Captain Marvel have presented a strong case for themselves. Of course, we need more considering our appetite and MCU seems to work on it.

We already know that Marvel has prioritized making their movies involving more people on a global scale, so as to increase the viewership. Hence, it makes perfect sense that they are in talks with Priyanka Chopra, the Indian superstar famous for movies like Baywatch and hit TV show Quantico. Also, considering the population of the country and it’s ever-growing hype for Marvel, it seems a wise move in order to grab more eyeballs from the country.

Joe Russo director of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame alongside his brother Anthony, made a surprise visit to India to promote their upcoming flick where they teased a possible collaboration with Chopra, excerpt from what transpired :

“I’d love to work with Priyanka, I am smiling only because we’re potentially talking to her about something. I’m just not going to say what yet,” said Joe.

Adding to it, he said :

” Priyanka is transitioning into global status now. She is fantastic and we would like to absolutely see her as a face in our future project.”

Commenting on Bollywood, he says :

” I’m an action director so I saw Dabangg many years ago and then Dabangg 2. I thought the camera work was great in these films. The tone and energy were awesome. Yeah, so I certainly know Salman Khan”.

He also told that climax of Avengers: Age of Ultron was inspired by superstar Rajnikanth’s blockbuster “Robot(Enthiran)”!

Now, what we predict is, maybe she is going to get a major role in The Eternals. There is a chance that maybe they are collaborating for an entirely different project which has no relation whatsoever with Marvel.

The rumors and speculations have already started but obviously, no one can tell at the moment what happened in those four corners and what project they are in talks for!
