Avengers Endgame has been the highest-grossing movie of the year and has managed to sweep every Marvel fan existing in this universe off their feet.
As it has now become digitally available, audiences are thoroughly looking through every scene of the movie.
They are also trying to build connections and get an ultimate closure to how the arcs of the millennial characters ended.
Captain America proves Ultron wrong at the end of Avengers: Endgame
One such character which saw an ultimate end was none other than Captain America, the universe’s savior.
Some of the eagle-eyed fans have also highlighted a conversation between the ostensible A.I, Ultron and world’s bravest hero, Captain America, where he rebuked him about how he could not live without a war.
MCU heroes have always been faced with tough choices, and their moral ambiguity and relativity has been questioned and tested, time and again.
As much as Cap yearned for the last dance he promised to Peggy, he also understood his responsibilities towards the world that Thanos posed.
And Captain America always had his priorities straight.
But as much as Marvel is known for its warped plots, Captain America used the Pym particles to return the Infinity Stones back to their rightful places and decided to stay back in time.
During this time, he nursed a family with his lady love, the name of which he refused to disclose and came back as an aged old man to the present. He also passed on his shield to Sam, the Falcon and we all knew that it was time for this phenomenal soul to retire back to rest.
It has been difficult for fans around the world to fathom a logical explanation of Captain’s aging and they are constantly coming up with theories to support the ending.
Evans’ Take on A Guy as Simple as Cap:
For Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, it was equally challenging to do justice to a man who had always struggled to find his happiness.
The wave of cheer which ran through the cinema halls when Mjolnir came rushing to him proves Captain America has always been a man with morals.
However, Evans has always considered Captain America to be more of a simple-minded guy and it was certainly difficult to build stories around him.
He is grateful that the filmmakers helped him to understand the underlying emotions of the character in a better way.
Marvel Is Ready to Take You for A Crazy Ride:
Now, that the Cap has aged and the Shield has been passed, fans are waiting for the fourth phase which has already begun with Spiderman: Far From Home.
Since Black Widow has been announced as one of the primary movies in MCU’s Phase 4, fans are speculating whether Cap returned Natasha to reality when he returned the Soul Stone.
Nevertheless, Endgame will be available to watch on Blu-ray and DVD from 13 August.
