Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 20 Recap

In the previous episode, we got peeks into the big moments of Grisha’s life. Right from the moment Eren is born, we saw how Grisha cherished his son and loved him, which made Zeke very jealous and bitter. It was obvious that Grisha had learned of his mistakes from his bad parenting with his first son and was making amends.

However, he was still looking for ways to fulfill his mission by using his status as a doctor to get more info about the Royal family. Zeke told Eren that this proves how selfish Grisha was as a father by putting his family at risk like the last time.

After Eren declares his wish to become a Survey Corps member and proclaims his desire to get freedom, Grisha realizes that he has a mission to fulfill, a mission that he promised Kruger and his Eldia Restorationists. That very day after he hears that the walls have been breached, he confronts the entire Reiss family.
