One of the reasons was the actor himself. Fans all over the world flocked to theatres to see Jason Momoa As Aquaman. Momoa has previously been in films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. On the television side, the actor is famous for his role as Khal Drogo, in the popular series Game of Thrones.

All About Aquaman

Aquaman hit theatres in late 2018. It explores the story of the origin of Arthur Curry, played by Momoa. Curry is not aware of the fact that he is the true heir of the underwater city of Atlantis. Atlantis is one of the first and most advanced civilizations to ever exist.

King Orm, a power-hungry person rules the kingdom at first. He is also Curry’s half-brother. And so, to accept his true fate as protector of the deep seas, Aquaman sets on a journey to retrieve the legendary Trident of Atlan.

What To Expect In The Aquaman Sequel?

In addition to seeing Jason Momoa As Aquaman in Aquaman 2, we also have many questions and confusion. Most of these are about Arthur leading the city of Atlantis. Additionally, there is the question of what happens with Orm, the former king. Moreover, the post-credits of the first film makes it clear that Black Manta will be back.

However, it seems that the villain will probably appear in Aquaman 2 to stir up some trouble in the underwater kingdom. As of now, what the film will include still remains a mystery to us.
