Andrew Garfield Spotted In Spider-Man: No Way Home Leaked Set Photos

Although neither Andrew Garfield nor Tobey Maguire has appeared in the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans do not give up hope of seeing both incarnations of the superhero again. Onscreen. A wish that could be close to being fulfilled, according to recently leaked footage from the shoot. A few hours later, photographs were removed due to a copyright claim from Sony Pictures, which could indicate their authenticity.

In the snapshots, allegedly taken during Garfield’s stay on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the actor appears dressed in the suit of the wall-crawler and upon a scaffolding structure located in front of a blue chroma. Garfield appears with another interpreter who is also characterized as the superhero and who, they say, is the other Spiderman of the cinema, Tobey Maguire.

The images were published on social networks a few days ago, practically coinciding with the launch of the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which made them go more unnoticed at first. But now, especially after Sony has urged its removal, the signals about its veracity have increased.

And that is what happened when the trailer was leaked through Tik Tok a day before its official launch. Sony called for its recall, and hours later, the leaked material was found to be authentic.

After The Amazing Spider-Man 2 failed to obtain the figures that Sony expected at the box office, the company decided to restart the superhero universe, leaving the story of this incarnation of the character unfinished and without a third installment. However, despite everything pointing to Garfield not having the opportunity to play the wall-crawler again, with the premiere of No Way Home, the interpreter will have a chance to reprise the role and give a possible ending to his Spider-Man.

Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland alongside Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: No way Home will bring the Marvel Multiverse to the big screen for the first time, introducing not only three incarnations of the wall-crawler, but also several of the villains from the previous films, such as Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus or Jaime Foxx’s Electro. The film will hit theaters on December 17
