According to o recent video, Alex was spotted out and was asked about JLo and her ex Ben Affleck who are rumored to be dating again.

Alex, as expected, did not answer the question; instead said, “Go Yankees.” Now that’s normal as Alex is an ex-player for the Yankees, but that’s not all.

Ben Affleck, who is notably a die-hard fan of Boston’s Red Sox, is a team that has some hard-core rivalry with the Yankees.

So, you could interpret Alex actually throwing a shade on Red Sox, aka Ben Affleck, in this situation.

Well, Matt Damon is, after all, the best friend of Ben Affleck, and it is expected of him to have an opinion.

When Matt Damon went on the Today Show, he was asked about the couple. At first, he denied hearing it and said this was the first time he heard it.

“I just heard you guys. I was sitting here waiting to come on TV,” Matt said coyly. “This is the first time I’ve heard about it.”

But he eventually just sent his love saying that he hopes it is true and that he would love to see them both together when he was asked, ‘What do you think?’

“It’s a fascinating story,” Matt responded before saying, “I hope it’s true. I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome.”

So, it is a green flag from the best friend and Bennifer fans, not a big one from Alex tho, well, it’s expected.
