Akira Kubodera of Sailor Moon Fame Commits Suicide

Akira Kubodera was found dead in his home in Nakano, Tokyo, according to the news that was reported by NHK. The report claims that the actor was found unresponsive in his house on November 13, 2020.

The 43-year-old actor was taken to the hospital immediately but was soon pronounced dead. Akira Kubodera is a Tokyo native who has appeared in many live-action series, films, and stage plays.

Akira is well known for playing Ali’s role in the live-action adaptation of the Mobile Suit Gundam series. Akira didn’t just star in Sailor Moon‘s live-action adaptation; he also lent his talents to the production, which helped them make the live-action possible.
