Acclaimed Director Kenji Kamiyama Directing The Lord of The Rings Anime Film
The Lord of the Rings franchise is an immensely popular media franchise consisting of books, movies, sequels, merch, tourist locations, etc. Critically acclaimed even by snobbish critics’ standards, the collection has garnered a sale of over 150 million copies.
The book collections are of the epic high fantasy genre and are well-known for their meticulously crafted world-building. The English author J.R.R. Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings. Luckily if you’re an anime fan as well as an ardent TLOTR fan, you’re in for some great news. Recently, Warner Bros. Animation and New Line Cinema declared that they’ll be producing a new feature anime film based on the popular franchise together.
They also announced that Kenji Kamiyama will be the director of the feature film The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim. The announcement revealed some other important details. Sola Entertainment will take charge of the animation while the distribution will be taken care of by Warner Bros. Pictures.
