Aamir Khan To Star In A Sports Drama
According to various sources, Bollywood star Aamir Khan will be collaborating with filmmaker RS Prasanna for his next film. The actor and the director will come together for a sports drama based on a 2018 Spanish film.

Aamir Khan and RS Prasanna’s sports drama is adapted from the hit Spanish film ‘Campeones.’ Set against the backdrop of basketball; it highlights the challenges of the sport and the team’s struggles. The film was the most prominent national box office hit of the year.
Details on Campeones
Campeones (meaning Champions) is a sports comedy-drama. The movie shows how an arrogant coach was forced to train a team with developmental disabilities and the struggles they faced during the same. The film, directed by Javier Fesser, starred Spanish actors like Javier Gutierrez, Jose de Luna, Gloria Ramos, Roberto Chinchilla, Athenea Mata, Luisa Gavasa, Mariano Llorente, Daniel Freire, and Juan Margallo.
Aamir’s Role
Khan will be essaying the role of a strict and arrogant coach with a drinking problem. His character is supposed to have a redemption arc as he’ll go from being a drunkard to becoming sober. The actor seems like a good fit for the role as he played a coach in a commercial hit like Dangal.

Aamir has various projects lined up, including the official adaptation of ‘Forrest Gump’ titled ‘Lal Singh Chadha.‘ The actor is also in talks for playing the lead in Bollywood Icon Guru Dutt’s biopic.
