A Mysterious Creature Like Flerken Is Hiding As Katy’s Pet In Shang Chi

After the last film of Phase 3 which is Spider-Man Far From Home, Marvel Studios in 2020 was on hold. That’s why in 2021, many new deliveries are premiering, both in theatres and on Disney+. Till now, we have seen WandaVison, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and Black Widow. They are also about to release. What if…? This Wednesday, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. In some of these stories, the Multiverse will be most likely to play a very important.

Merchandise for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has been doing the rounds for a while, and because of that we got to know about “Morris”, for quite some time. However, that was only in the form of a LEGO piece, and thanks to some officially released toys, the mythical creature has now been fully revealed.

In Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings, there’s a new mysterious creature called ‘Morris.’ It is said to have some connection to multiverse. Which they have not shown in the trailers, but which has been leaked in the merchandise.

What is Morris?

This little creature walks on all fours, it has wings but no faces, and it will probably be the companion of Katy, the character played by Awkwafina. She is a friend of Shang-Chi, that you will suddenly discover the truth about the protagonist. So Marvel Studios will use it to explain the most confusing moments of the plot since we must remember that in this film, we can see fantastic elements, ancient Asian traditions, a martial arts tournament, an evil organization, and even a dragon.

But now, let’s focus on Morris, which is directly related to a being in ancient Chinese texts, known as “Hundun” The how “Dijiang.” This creature is described in mythology as one of the creators of the universe. He was benevolent, and together with other beings like him, they ruled over all things. But when he wanted to have a face, the change killed him because he became something that he should not be.

Obviously, this doesn’t fit much into Marvel Studios because they will make their own version so that it is consistent with the rest of the installments.

So this little creature could be one of the “Nexus Being,” ( a rare individual entities with the ability to affect probability and thus the future, thereby altering the flow of the Universal Time Stream. These beings, each referred to as a nexus, act as the keystones of the Multiverse and are crucial to its ultimate coherence and stability.) An exciting way to introduce more elements of the multiverse in a simple way for viewers.

The first MCU film to be centred on an Asian superhero, Shang-Chi will see the titular character Simu Liu, starring alongside Liu, the cast features Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, the movie is set to be released theatrically on September 3rd, 2021, also it wouldn’t be just a minor installment with a martial arts tournament, but it will be much bigger and more shocking than people think.
